Food is an important part of most people's holiday and you will certainly not be disappointed by the array of cuisines on offer in Paphos including Italian, Chinese, Thai, Indian and Mexican restaurants. The quality of food is excellent and prices are reasonable.
The favourite of many visitors is the traditional Cyprus Meze, which is short for Mezedhes, or little delicacies. It consists of up to 30 small dishes of local food and is a very tasty and enjoyable way of sampling different foods.
Local beers are as good as you will find anywhere, and the Brandy, especially Brandy Sours, are virtually given away as the island makes its own. Cyprus also has wide and varied selection of wine.
During the summer months, many restaurants and tavernas have a 'Cyprus Night', which involves traditional Cypriot cuisine followed by a folk dance show.
The nearest restaurant is a 2-minute walk from the villa.
