Below you'll find some of the most common questions we've been asked, but if you can't find the answer to your question, please contact us.

What is the maximum number of guests allowed in the villa?
The villa sleeps 8 people plus a baby. There are 3 bedrooms (2 doubles and a twin) plus a sofa bed in the lounge. The weekly rental cost is based on up to 6 people sharing.

Is the villa air-conditioned?
Yes, the villa is fully air-conditioned throughout and heated in the winter if required. There is no additional charge for air-conditioning.

How far away is the airport?
Paphos Airport is 15km (9 miles) away and the journey takes less than 20 minutes.  Larnaca Airport is approximately 142km (88 miles) away and the transfer time is about an hour and a half.

How will I get from the airport to the villa?
You can hire a car or take a taxi. Taxis can be picked up from the airport or pre-booked in advance.

How do I get the keys and locate the villa?
The keys will be sent to you approximately 3 weeks before your arrival along with the villa address, detailed directions from Paphos Airport and a map.

I have a late flight home. Can I stay in the villa until the evening?
The check-out time on the day of departure is 11am. If you have a late flight and want to stay in the villa until your flight home, you will need to book an extra night.

What else will I need to book apart from the villa?
Flights to Cyprus and transfers from the airport to the villa are not included in the rental price and these will have to be booked separately. It is also essential that you take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking the villa.

Do I need to bring any local currency?
Yes, it's always a good idea to bring some local currency with you for airport transfers and basic provisions. There are plenty of banks and money exchange places within a 10-15 minute walk from the villa.

Is a car essential?
No, t
he excellent location means that car hire is an option, not a necessity. All the main attractions are within walking distance or a short bus ride away.

If I decide to hire a car, where can I park?
Parking is available on the well-lit, private road directly outside the villa.

How will I find my way around the resort?
There is an information table in the villa containing maps, bus timetable, details of supermarkets, bars and restaurants, etc. A map of Paphos will be sent to you approximately 3 weeks before your arrival, along with the villa keys.

Will I have any language problems?
No, Greek is that native language but everyone in the tourist area speaks good English.

What entertainment is provided?
There is a TV with UK television channels and a multi-region DVD player with a selection of DVDs to play.

What facilities are provided for children?
There is a travel cot and high chair for young children to use. There is also a games cupboard with a selection of board games, children's DVDs and reading books etc. Plastic plates, bowls and beakers are also provided.

Will I need to bring my own bed linen and towels?
No, all bed linen and bath towels are provided. However, we do ask that you bring your own towels to use around the pool and on the beach.

Will I need to bring a hairdryer and adaptor?
No, the villa is fitted with the normal 3 pin type sockets as in the UK and there are three hairdryers for you to use, one in each bedroom.

Where can I keep my passport and valuable items?
There is an electronic safe in the villa.

Is smoking allowed in the villa?
For the comfort and safety of all guests, smoking is not allowed in the villa, but guests can smoke outside. There are two smoke detectors fitted in the property.

Is the water safe to drink?
Yes, there is a drinking water tap in the kitchen.

Are there any medical services locally?
There are lots of hospitals in Paphos and the nearest one is the Iasis Private Hospital, which is approximately one mile from the villa. There is also a pharmacy next to the hospital and several pharmacies around the resort. For minor injuries, there is first aid kit in the villa for you to use.

Who do I contact for questions and emergencies?
You will be supplied with the telephone number of our property managers in Paphos. They are a very friendly English couple who have moved out to Paphos and will be able to assist you with any problems or queries you may have.

How can I pay?
Payment can be made by cash, bank transfer or Paypal (2% surcharge for Paypal). All payments received will be acknowledged in writing.

What are the advantages of renting a villa over staying in a hotel?
A villa holiday gives you added freedom, flexibility and privacy compared with a hotel. For families, having a fully-equipped kitchen means it is easier, more convenient and economical to stay in and eat.
